This unit is meant to fit on the narrow stern deck area at the transom or sides of a medium to large cruiser. It comes with 2 x vertical rod holders, which need to be mounted 570mm apart. They can, in fact replace existing angled rod holders. Two stainless steel mounts are supplied, which fit into the new rod holders and the base of the sink/base board. You end up with a very secure unit. The bait board has a work area of 740 x 370mm approx., and has a door that opens to reveal a sink measuring 480 x 330mm. The sink itself is fairly shallow at 75-80mm deep. It has provision for a drain hose. To compensate for the lost rod holder sockets used to mount the bait board/sink there is provision for 2 x angled rod holder sockets in the board itself. The whole unit is moulded in very thick polypropylene which is tough against cuts and is UV resistant. All in all a very sound product. The unit measures 840(L) x 450(W)mm by approx. 120mm deep overall. It is a great product for the serious fisherman.
